The hospitality laboratories include training restaurants and bars for food and beverage service practice, hot kitchens, pastry kitchens, and a nutrition laboratory equipped with professional tools to support mastery of culinary arts and nutritional principles. Additionally, there is a laundry laboratory for learning linen management and hotel laundry services, as well as front office, back office, and housekeeping laboratories that simulate real hotel guest services, reservation operations, and hotel information systems.
Meanwhile, the tourism laboratories include a tourism destination laboratory for managing and developing destinations based on cultural, natural, and man-made attractions; a travel planning laboratory for practicing travel agency operations; a MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Convention, Exhibition) laboratory as a training space for organizing professional events; and an ecotourism and sustainable tourism laboratory to support the development of tourism that is socially, culturally, and environmentally responsible.
All of these laboratories are designed to replicate real industry conditions, aiming to equip students with technical and managerial competencies, professional communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the application of excellent service principles and sustainable tourism practices. With these facilities, graduates of Bali Tourism Polytechnic are expected to become adaptive, innovative, globally competitive tourism professionals who are ready to take on strategic roles across various sectors of the hospitality and tourism industry.
