Nusa Dua, February 3, 2025 – Bali Tourism Polytechnic (BiTP) welcomes back third, fifth, and seventh-semester students for the inaugural lecture of the 2024/2025 academic year. The inaugural lecture is a regular agenda before the beginning of the new semester. The second semester’s inaugural lecture for the 2024/2025 academic year is being held from February 3 to 7, 2025.

The holiday break is over, and now Poltekpar Bali students are preparing to gain knowledge and hone their skills at the Padma Campus through the inaugural lecture for the second semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The event was officially opened by the Director of BiTP, Dr. Drs. Ida Bagus Putu Puja, M.Kes, on Monday, February 3, 2025, at the Joop Ave Hall of BiTP. In his speech, Dr. Puja encouraged students to be more active and proactive in every learning process.

“Students should not just be listeners, but be critical, ask questions, engage in discussions, and share ideas,” said Dr. Puja. He added his hope that BiTP students excel not only academically but also have personalities that reflect the noble values of the Indonesian nation. This aligns with BiTP’s vision of producing superior, professional generations who embody the nation’s character.

The inaugural lecture activities are being held both offline and online. Students from the Outside Campus Study Program (PSDKU) in Manado and Sragen are also participating in the lecture activities online. Meanwhile, hundreds of Poltekpar Bali students from all study programs have packed the Joop Ave Hall since 07:30 a.m.

The event began with student attendance according to their study programs. The agenda included a speech from the Director of BiTP, academic information, lectures, and further academic information for each study program. On the first day, BiTP presented a speaker from the Bali Police’s ‘Brimob’ unit, Mr. I Putu Gede Semarabawa, who gave a lecture on national insight.

The second-semester inaugural lecture agenda for the 2024/2025 academic year will continue for the next week with external speakers from the tourism and hospitality industries. It is hoped that the inaugural lecture program will provide insights and prepare BiTP students for their academic journey in the second semester of the 2024/2025 academic year.
