The joy of the success of Bali Tourism Polytechnic was celebrated through the culmination of the 46th Anniversary of Bali Tourism Polytechnic at the Bali Tourism Polytechnic Senate Session.
The 46th Anniversary of Bali Tourism Polytechnic is a celebration of the entire academic community including lecturers and staff which is reflected in the tagline ‘Stepping Together, Celebrating Joy’. Not just jargon, on the 46th Anniversary the entire academic community was directly involved in the series of celebrations starting from pre-Dies Natalis activities, various competitions to the culmination of the 46th Anniversary which was held on Thursday, March 28 2024 at the Joop Ave Hall, Bali Tourism Polytechnic. Previously, various activities had been carried out, namely Happy Fridays, Social Service, Internal Competition Activities which were attended by lecturers, staff and students, entrepreneurship expos, plastic waste management workshops, and the 46th Anniversary Summit. The peak event for the 46th Anniversary was packaged in the form of an Open Session of Bali Tourism Polytechnic Senate.
According to the Director of Bali Tourism Polytechnic, the 46th Anniversary moment can be used as a moment to reflect on the journey that has been taken. The success achieved by Bali Tourism Polytechnic cannot be separated from the values of hard work, thoroughness, intelligence and sincerity in every step. The highlight of the 46th Anniversary felt even more special with the presence of the Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy/ Main Secretary of the Indonesian Tourism and Creative Economy Agency, Mrs. Dra. Ni Wayan Giri Adnyani, M.Sc., CHE. In his speech, he announced that next May Bali Tourism Polytechnic had been appointed together with UNTourism to organize the ‘2nd UN Tourism Regional Conference on The Empowerment of Women in Tourism in Asia and the Pacific’. The atmosphere became even more lively with the broadcast of a welcoming video from the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy/Head of the Republic of Indonesia Tourism and Creative Economy Agency, Mr. Dr. H. Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, BBA., MBA. The Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy specifically congratulated Bali Tourism Polytechnic and advised that with the spirit of innovation, adaptation and collaboration, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy believes that Bali Tourism Polytechnic is able to answer global challenges. Entering the main event of the peak celebration of the 46th Anniversary, there was a signing of an MoU of Cooperation between the Bali Poltekpar and 7 cooperation partners from the tourism industry including Padma Hotels, Raffels Bali, InterContinental Bali Jimbaran, Kryasta Guna Foundation, Perumda Kerthi Bali Shanti, JCI and Red Sea Associates. The signing of this MoU is proof of the seriousness of the Bali Poltekpar in improving the quality of education for students and developing the quality of lecturers and institutions. The peak celebration of the 46th Anniversary of Bali Tourism Polytechnic became even more lively with the announcement of the internal competition winners who competed for rotating trophies. This year, the Hotel Management Study Program (PPH) once again confirmed itself as the General Champion at its 46th Anniversary.
