Accelerating Tourism Human Resources Development, Central Java Disporapar supports Independent Entrance Selection (SMM) for Bali Tourism Polytechnic in Sragen

Sragen – Bali Tourism Polytechnic which was directly represented by the Director Dr. Drs. Ida Bagus Putu Puja, M.Kes, accompanied by staff held an audience with the Youth, Sports and Tourism Department of Central Java Province (Thursday, March 21 2024). The visit was warmly received by the Secretary of the Provincial Disporapar. Central Java Mr. Syurya Deta Syafrie, ST, MT and staff, took place in the Central Java Disporapar meeting room.

The aim of this activity is to convey New Student Admission activities through the Independent Entrance Selection (SMM) route at the PSDKU Sragen Campus with the study program being opened, namely Bachelor of Applied Science (D4) Tourism Destinations. Furthermore, the director of the Bali Poltekpar also invited the Central Java Tourism and Tourism Department to work together in developing tourism, especially in Central Java.

The Secretary of the Youth, Sports and Tourism Department of Central Java Province and the team also expressed their intentions in developing tourism human resources in Central Java. Where the presence of the Bali Tourism Polytechnic through the Study Program Outside the Main Campus (PSDKU) Sragen provides greater opportunities for the younger generation, especially in Central Java, in pursuing a career as a professional tourism workforce in the future.

The Central Java Disporapar also opens collaboration opportunities for PSDKU Sragen, especially in the field of promotion through regional events to increase public knowledge regarding the existence of PSDKU Poltekpar Bali in Sragen. Also a highlight of this meeting was the status of the Bali Tourism Polytechnic as a state university under the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy which offers very affordable tuition fees with complete facilities in accordance with current industry standards. So prospective applicants don’t need to worry, when they graduate they will be immediately ready to work.

As a follow-up, the results of this meeting will be outlined in a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) between the Bali Tourism Polytechnic and the Central Java Province Youth, Sports and Tourism Service as the legal basis for good cooperation between the two institutions.
