Bali Tourism Polytechnic (Poltekpar Bali) held a Briefing and Orientation Program for the 2025 batch of Civil Servant Candidates (CPNS) as an initial effort to build readiness, understanding, and integrity among civil apparatus in the environment of vocational higher education in tourism. This two-day event reflects the institution’s commitment to instilling the core values of civil service from the very beginning of their service period.
On the first day, the event was conducted in a hybrid format and was directly connected to the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia. The Minister of Tourism officially opened the program and delivered strategic guidance to CPNS participants stationed across various work units under the ministry’s coordination, including Poltekpar Bali. In his address, he emphasized the vital role of civil servants in advancing the national tourism sector through professional and ethical performance.
The second day of the orientation was held in person at Widyatula Building of Bali Tourism Polytechnic. During this session, CPNS participants received their official Appointment Decrees, symbolically handed over by the Director of Bali Tourism Polytechnic and witnessed by the management and unit leaders. The Director conveyed a message encouraging the CPNS to uphold the values of service, discipline, and work ethics, and to be ready to contribute to the development of a globally competitive and excellent vocational tourism education system.
The Vice Director II also provided a briefing on organizational structure, staffing policies, and work culture within Poltekpar Bali. All participants were introduced to the workplace environment and organizational values that emphasize professionalism, collaboration, and excellent service.
The CPNS cohort consists of individuals from various job backgrounds, both functional and administrative. They will serve in roles such as lecturers, legal analysts, librarians, public relations officers, educational laboratory technicians, and government facilitators. This diversity reflects Poltekpar Bali’s commitment to developing a resilient, inclusive, and adaptive human resource base to meet the institution’s future needs.
Through this briefing and orientation program, Bali Tourism Polytechnic hopes the CPNS participants can embark on their civil service journey with enthusiasm, strong understanding, and readiness to fulfill their mandate in advancing the nation through vocational tourism education.
